Course Schedule for Math 50, Elementary Algebra

All chapter exams will be taken on campus in Allied Health (building 32) room 5 (32-5).

Saturday, March 19      First Exam               9:00 am – 11:00 am                12:30* pm – 2:30 pm

Saturday, April 30        Midterm Exam         9:00 am – 11:00 am                12:30* pm – 2:30 pm

NOTE:  May. 3rd is the last day to drop and still receive a “W” grade.

Saturday, June 4            Final Exam             9:00 am – 11:00 am                12:30* pm – 2:30 pm

 

*On each exam date, there will be an optional Q&A session which will begin at 8:00 am (section 5784) and 11:30 am (section 5785).  Please note which section number that you are in.  You will be required to attend the session that you are scheduled for.  If you would prefer to test in the other time slot, a request must be made to me in writing at least two weeks prior to the exam date.  I will approve the change in testing time based upon space availability, giving preference to those who ask first.

 

Notes for the Table below:

* These are the suggested dates for you to study the sections and practice the sections within the text.  Do not procrastinate.

** Complete each online exam within the time frame allowed.  You will be given three 150-minute attempts to complete each chapter’s online exam.  The highest of the three scores will count toward the homework portion of your grade.  Note:  The online exams are only summary reviews to show me that you are keeping on task.  Your actual on-campus exams will not necessarily be based on these online exams.  You are responsible for mastering all problems styles within the given sections of the text.
